It´s time to find out just what a Landrover Discovery is really capable of! This man-made 4x4 off road course is a real challenge and designed to really push the vehicles to their limits - you´ll brave the nerve-wracking descents, tricky log balancing and make a splash as you power through water. A fantastic introduction to the exciting world of 4x4 off roading.
After joining your small group of up to 3 drivers, your BORDA qualified instructor will deliver a short introduction and safety brief before heading straight out onto this superb and challenging course. Over the next 3 hours you will be shown how to tackle a wide variety of off road situations before taking the wheel yourself and seeing just how tricky driving a powerful 4x4 in the terrain they were designed for can be. Situations you will cover during your experience include:
-How to climb/descend
-Failed ascents
-Tackling water
-Use of differential locks
-Approaching traverses
-Care of vehicles
-Off-road etiquette
This course is ideal for novice 4WD drivers who want to develop the skills and confidence to explore the great out outdoors themselves or for anyone who wants to experience a fun day out.
